Jurenda’s Patriotic Pilgrim (Jurende\'s Vaterländischer Pilger) for 1840, given to be printed on the 7.7.(!)1839, published a very detailed essay about daguerreotype, which was in a form of an instruction of how to make it. Jurenda’s calendar was published in Brno. The text can be designated as the first manual of how to make a daguerreotype printed in the Czech lands.
