11. Experiments with daguerreotypes in Prague

Ferdinand Hessler, a physicist and professor of Prague University who learned the daguerreotype process abroad, pursued experiments with daguerreotype in the Autumn, apparently without great success. He seemed to daguerreotype together with the natural historian Ludwig Redtenbacher and the then building office clerk, later a successful photographer, Wilhelm Horn, who later wrote about the collective experiments.
