Daguerreotypist of the czech society

Jan Maloch photographed personalities in costumes from artists’ festivities, and created a remarkable auto portrait with family, which is the first known auto portrait of a Bohemian photographer. With his portraits of artists and well-known personalities (K. Javůrek, J. Mánes, S. Pinkas, B. Němcová). Maloch became the “daguerreotypist of the czech society”.
