29. July in Liberec (Reichenberg) Wenzel Ferdinand Jantch advertised in Reichenberger Wochen-Bericht making of calotypes. He was the first one to advertise exclusively this technique (and not also the daguerreotype). Jantsch kept the continuity of his studio for another three decades in Liberec.
