Vojtěch Kramer (1805-1878), a school director and a religion teacher at a highschool, who photographed as an amateur Domažlice residents, became an Augustinian convent prior, and probably ended his amateur photographical activities. He can be described as the first significant amateur photographer in the history of the Czech lands.
