On the 26th of September 1853, Hermann Krone from Dresden created historically first photographs of the Pravčická Gate, Pravčice Cone and the Jeleni Hollow. The next day he made the first picture of Hřensko. His pioneering exploit Krone later called "the first photographical landscape excursion to Saxon-Boheminan Schwitzerland".
