Prague’s photographer Wilhelm Horn in started to publish in Liepzig the first specialized magazine for photography in German called the Photographisches Journal, and near Prašná brána opened a large shop with photo supplies with representatives in main European cities. At the same time he also transferred to a more frequented place (Na Příkopě No. 969) his photo studio, called a Glass parlor.
