Wilhelm Horn retired from business, magazine publishing, left his Prague studio and departed for his native Česká Lípa, after he bought a house there. However, he occasionally photographed there, corresponded with his friends from photography circles abroad, and as a joke he called himself the oldest photographer on the globe.
