4. December – Hermann W. Vogel, chairman of the Association for Promoting Photography in Berlin (Verein zur Förderung der Photographie), read a letter of Jakub Husník about his method a photolitography. At the same time he had shown the photolitography  method to a München photographer Josef Albert, who exhibited some of his works in Hamburg in November beforehand.
