The agreemen about "gelatin-photo-lithography"

21. January – Jakub Husník and Josef Albert entered into a contract before witnesses, where Husník left to Albert “his own method of gelatin-photo-lithography, which is identical with the invention of the court photographer Josef Albert, to be used at his discretion and assessment, and he pledges to keep the method before everybody and in every way a secret…”. The agreement was entered into for five years, and according to it Albert should give to Husník 5% of his profits, gained by the sale of the method over 20 000 guilders of the Austrian currency.
