Jindřich Eckert published a phototype facsimile of a medieval codex Scriptum super Apocalypsim cum imaginibus (Wenceslai Doctoris), and was therefore awarded Voigtländer’s medal of the Photographical Society in Vienna, and during that occasion also received the Frantz Joseph I. Gold Meritorious Cross for artistic efforts and successful activities.
