Žofie Chotková photographed

Chotek sisters created an individualistic self-portrait, where they demonstrated work in a dark room. Žofie Chotek played a leading role, she took photographs out of interest even after the marriage to Ferdinand d’Este (the successor to the Austro-Hungarian throne). At that time, photo amateur work in the Chotek and Nostitz families had a three decades long tradition already.
