In the Fotografický obzor (Photographical Review) magazine Jakub Husník published an extensive essay in several installments called "Photographs in color", which offered a high-quality overview about results in the color photography area at that time. Jakub Husník and his son Jaroslav had a special interest in color photography, because they successfully pursued the possibilities of three-color print in their explorations of reproduction techniques.
