Photographical society in Vienna (Photographische Gesellschaft in Wien) had been founded, where a number of distinguished photographical personalities in the monarchy met, together with personalities from the Czech lands. Honorary members of the society included for example Josef Maxmilián Petzval, Jakub Husník, Karel Klíč, full member was Jindřich Eckert.
