October - at the department store U Nováků in Prague, the traveler Alberto Vojtěch Frič (1882-1944) organized an exhibition of items from his first trip to collect botanical materials in May, 1901. Průvodce po výstavce sbírek z cesty Vojtěcha Friče jr. do Brasilie (Guide to the Collection Display from Vojtěch Frič jr's trip to Brazil) shows next to a “collection of photographs, landscapes and types”, among the equipment, also a “photographical machine by Voigtländer works”.
