20. December – Jan Neruda published an article about photography in Hlas magazine, where he warmly welcomed this new invention and recommended the Prague photographer František Fridrich, who is preparing “to publish an album of Prague editors” and “an album of the most beautiful landscapes in Bohemia and Moravia, taken from nature”.
