Antonín Markl, a chemist, photographer and a pioneer of phototype, published the first manual in the Czech language Today’s Photography… In the Appendix to the book Markl made a suggestion to constitute a Czech Photographers Association with very progressive program and activities, among others he suggested founding collections in the photography area.
