01. Second permanent daguerreotype studio

March – Jozef Božetěch Klemens (1817-1883), Slovak painter and inventor, opened a Lightgallery, second permanent daguerreotype establishment in Prague, connected to the universal national school Budeč of Karel Slavoj Armeling, who also pursued amateur daguerreotyping. Budeč and consequently the Lightgallery did not last very long.
